Hey @becca59 The consultant told me that to get the best accuracy with it I would need to apply it when my levels are stable & to achieve that do it hours after/before food.

Ah yes I'll let you know how it goes @smc4761 I'll be putting it on/in about 4:30 this afternoon. I was told to do it 4 hours after eating & at least 2 before next meal. I'll update you all tomorrow :)

Sorry to hear you had a Hypo too @porl69 your over treating doesn't sound so bad compared to mine though :wacky::hilarious: I really went for it! But it is the first Hypo during the night I have had in a long time, whereas I was getting them 2-3 times a week previously! So for that I am...

Hey @slip I know right, waking up low is just the ultimate test. I am normally ok ish at controlling what I eat when low during the day. But that goes out the window when I wake up in the night! Ah hopefully next time you'll absolutely nail it!!

Good morning all, I'm not feeling so great this morning, a midnight hypo had me waking up with a BG of 21 this morning. So I am somewhat grumpy, sick & tired! Why must I eat until I cannot eat anymore when I'm low o_O:wacky: I hope everyone else is set for a great day

Afternoon all, Well I just wanted to say I am feeling VERY positive right now!! My appointment with GP went really well. apart from my BMI being just over what it should be (currently 30.3 & it needs to be 30 or under) the GP is happy that everything is good enough that she can refer me to the...

Good morning everyone, I woke a little higher than I'd like today with a 9.6. But feeling positive I can get back in the lower figures soon enough :) I am feeling nervous & excited & scared for my day ahead!! I have an appointment with my GP to discuss fertility o_O I have PCOS, so we're...

    Looking for some advise/reassurance/honest opinions!

Aww I'm glad it made you smile. Yeah the pre-pregnancy clinic just wasn't right for me. It filled me with a feeling of failure every time I went. I was offered the chance to go back recently when I moved to a new GP surgery & I explained to the nurse how I felt last time & she told me she hears...

Hi @Robinredbreast That's great that your daughter is there & able to listen when needed. And it's great you both have that mutual respect & won't cross a line with each other.

Hey @KK123 I know you're right. I know he loves me & that is all that matters I guess. I get frustrated very easily & until yesterday (until I joined this forum) I felt like I literally had nobody I could talk to regarding any aspect of my diabetes. x
