    Thanks for the information. Well, my kid grew up on factory processed Similac powder by Abbott since my wife could not produce enough milk, I guess I just like Abbott powder.

    In my case, it was a forced, drastic drop. While seeing a urologist for a tight bladder neck, he noticed that my urine test showed 4+ sugar (supposed to be 0, and 4+ was a lot), and told me to see a diabetic specialist, suspecting I had diabetes. I went back to work and forgot all about it...

    The 1st 2 weeks after being diagnosed with type 2, i was on 2 500 mg metformin. I also had blood and urine tests. Next visot to my doctor, my fasting reading was 11. He read my blood test chart, told me i still had insulin in my blood, which meant my pancreas was still working but not enough...

    When do you take your Gliclizide?

    I don't eat breakfast, and my bg level is around 7 to 9 around 11am, no medication taken. My doctor learned about this and told me to take my medicines in the morning even without breakfast. That's 30mg diamicron mr (gliclazide multi release) and 1 500mg Metformin. Now i get around 6 at 11am...
