    Some of the chain restaurants have full nutrition guide online, wethetspoons, pizza express, cafe Nero etc. I use these as a guide when eating similar good elsewhere. I avoid rice, noodles and only have a few chips or swap them for salad. Indian food can be really good of you stick to things...

    Agree with the above. Insulin deteriorated of to hot. Stress raises BG . Maybe his activity level is different. Also hydration can make s really big difference to BG readings so drink plenty of water. Good luck

    Mind does the same. I think it's a combination of relaxing more and the cuff being more settled for the second attempt. Put me near a nurse or doctor a and it's always 20 points higher lol!

    Injecting through clothing...a possible source of contamination?

    Short answer is yes. If a needle touches anything before it pierces the skin it can pick up contaminants, bacteria, viruses etc. Whether that results in any harm is on the lap of the gods. If it goes wrong the stakes are pretty high though.
