    Thanks, been in contact with her nurse. I've got to test her every 2 hours, her ketones are never high if her sugars are. I'm pretty sure her sugars are everywhere because of her upset stomach. Just working towards getting her stomach back to normal.

    Yes, been in contact with them for the last few days. There just telling me to keep testing her every 2 hours, but as a parent I just want to do everything possible to get her better quickly. So I've turned to her diet in the hope that plain foods will help settle her stomach which will settle...

    She HATES eggs!! We've been through every variety. Ketones are okay anything from 0.2-0.6. Just concerned as it's the first time she's been ill since being diagnosed. Hopefully it just lasts a few more days so we can both get some sleep!!

    Hi all I have a recently diagnosed type 1 two year old. She's got a really upset stomach at the moment and her sugars are anything between 2.7 and 23!! Can anyone suggest anything that I could do to help her sugars get a bit more settled? Tried her with 'plain' foods but they didn't go down well...
