    15.9 this morning. After quite some exercise yesterday, and good eating, and doubling up on Metformin, at least it's going in the right direction, slowly...:)

    I have been diabetic 2 for many years, it runs in the family, and my dad was type 1. I take Metformin in the mornings. My morning readings are 10-12. I find excercise reduces readings, then readings are down to 7's or 8's. I roughly follow a sugar free diet, but probably not very well. Also a...

    Diabetes Burnout.

    My breakfast is porridge. Oats are carbs, but are supposed to be slow-release, thus damping down any hunger for a snack mid-morning.. Good or bad???

    Hello there

    Just like to introduce myself, 72 years old and live near Llanelli South Wales. I need to eat and drink more sensibly, and am hoping this forum will spur me onto do that. Retired now, photography, mainly local wild life (!) is my passion.
