Fuuny that @SueJB on my drive in splashing through the edge of the river this morning I thought about your stream at the bottom of the garden and wondered how far it had come up - and then you post about it . Following on from my earlier post: Glucotabs consumed......

Morning all, someone please tell me it's Friday!?! BGs skimming along in the top half of the range over night  But I am currently at 4.9 heading south, hopefully it'll level out soon.......might need a helping hand - glucotabs at the ready.

Morning all, spent most of the night surfing the top edge of the range despite a bed time correction - suppose it could have been worse then. Breakfast with an extended pre-bolus and now sitting on a 7.2 heading south-east .

Be thankful you were in a dry car, from work I cycle 10-15mins to my car and then drive home, it was only slightly raining when I left work.........it was only slightly raining driving home, in between then the heavens opened and the wind blew a hoolie - one gust was like hitting a brick wall...

Morning all, I was all 6's and 7's this morning - scan said 6.8, bloods said 7.6, last night scan said 9.9 and bloods said 11.2 - this isn't the accuracy I've been having previously  but it's all within acceptable limits  (it's just that previous sensors would have been 0.1 or 0.2...

Morning all, I did 24hrs in target yesterday! but had a slight rise over night and unfortunately the breakfast 'bump' just took me out of range this morning - must try harder! :playful: @LooperCat revising diabetes - yeah you already know it but could any questions be based on old school...

Are you referring to the equipment or yourself? :hilarious: Well BGs as expected went haywire after a good start to the day yesterday and annoyingly my sensor ran out last night which I completely forgot about replacing last night, mornings are too much of a rush so will replace it tonight so...

BG control seems to have gone out the window at the mo - nothing too extreme (I lie!) but for example after yesterday morning waking with high BG the correction just bought it down to the top of normal range, then lunch with more correction didn't help at all and it continued to climb so by home...

    New to insulin

if and when you do go basal/bolus remember you are covering the carbs you are eating with 'x' amount of insulin, so if you are having a bag of M&Ms you'll know what to dose, crisps are a difficult one.........most packets are around 10-15g of carbs and most DSNs say not to bolus for snacks that...

    New to insulin

agree with Juicyj that by the sounds of it you need to be on a basal/bolus regime - suggest you make sure it is mentioned at your next appointment, and they'll probably start you off on fixed dosages so you may find your reading are just as erratic, but if you log everything (BGs, insulin...
