I’ve just had my latest bloods done HbA1c is fine at 38 But I’ve noticed an abnormal reading on my potassium levels at 5.3 . Is this anything to be concerned with and what could be the cause of this . I’ve heard that high potassium is dangerous is it caused by to much meat or cheese or something...

My cholesterol has been a bit high last reading was 6.3 but I dint know the split of ldl to hdl. I thought 6.3 was not really serious it’s down from 6.6 , 4 months ago

Not been working since 18th . Not back till 3rd jan . So excersise has taken a bit of a nose dive . Prob what’s put my bs up . Gonna enjoy New Year’s Eve then back on the wagon again till end of jan .

Took 2 readings this morning at 08:00 first was 6.7 second was 6.4 From like 5.4s before Christmas. Then realised I went a bit overboard with the berries last night . Checked the carb content and saw I gad about 25 to 30 grs after my dinner last night . So off for a long tramp around the park...

Hi Everyone Just got my latest HbA1c results in and I’m pleased to say they are at 5.6 or 38mm . That’s down from 39 at my last one in August . So that’s s nice Crimbo present . I know it sounds a bit braggy but I’m so pleased with it all just had to share .

I’m confused . I’ve been LCHF for the last 9 months ,since diagnosis . Last HbA1c was 39 waiting for new results atm . I like a drink . Low carb beer . A few pints at the weekend . A few malt whiskeys now and again etc etc . I’m sitting here now sipping a nice brandy and light ginger ale ...
