    I must say that I disagree with the poster. I find the arguments far too anecdotal. I'm not being personally critical, just my very experienced opinion.

    I do hope all goes really well. Radiotherapy is more aligned with cell death, than cell repair. It may well be the radiotherapy's inflammatory response that that could be attributed to blood sugar rises. BTW - are you taking steroids, like dexamethasone or prednisolone?

    Hypoglycaemia - the brain is quite exquisitely sensitive to serum glucose level, so prolonged low can be very damaging. I don't know the critical level of blood sugar, nor do I personally.     I believe you've received very good advice from the above posts. However, in my experience, I cannot tell the difference whether the insulin is from the fridge or at room temperature. Guess I insensitive, or maybe just too fat! Edit: spelling

    That's a new one to me! Didn’t hear it on the farm either… I consider Fenland to be temporary residence. My last move will back to N/NE Norfolk - 'PG go home.' And not a moment to soon!
