What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

If I had known about the bacon sarnies!!! If it is going to be cut back then you take it a little further than you want it, it allows it to regrow back to where you want it then just trim it to that afterwards (when it regrows that is) same goes if you are reducing the height. Be prepared for it...

even though I do it for a living (I fly a desk now though) hate cutting hedges, mine are a 10ft tall conifer at the rear of the house and a copper beech hedge at the front, love seeing the birds in it, just hate cutting it. Hope your Hedge isn't too troublesome when you cut it.

    Cannual sealing off

Its in, fully in runs ok for about two hours then it leaks all around the site is wet with insulin, and if I had to put insulin through for a corrective dose, you can see the wet patch get bigger, its a sign that something isn't quite right. I've questioned myself over whether I have inserted it...

    Cannual sealing off

no no warning as it was still delivering the insulin into the cannula, which was then leaking out of my skin. and a couple of times had the "no delivery" alarm sound which points to the cannula sealing off. Going back into Powerlifting (again!!!)

It definitely does, Diabetes shouldn't hold anyone back, it should hopefully give you the drive to do what you set your mind to. Especially considering our daily struggles.

    Going back into Powerlifting (again!!!)

Well I competed on Sunday in the A/BPU Northeast qualifier for 2020 British and European Championships, only competed in the Push/Pull part of the event. Finished with a 140kg bench (qualifies me for the Europeans) and a 205kg deadlift not what I wanted but with the ongoing hip issue that I have...

I do believe that you will indeed "breeze" around the course, whilst having fun!! You can let the postie say hello to Dennis, just ask him to wait a minute first then pet him. It will be good for Dennis to have social interaction outside the house, and he's your furbaby so you set the rules for...

Morning all, couldn't stomach a fight with the meter of doom today and just crept in the kitchen and extracted, gently mind, oh so gently as if touching a sleeping dragon who is snoring flame, a 4.9 out of it and retreated like the England bowlers from confrontation. @DJC3 what the dog...

belated morning to everyone I hope you all have brilliant day and nothing worries you. A 4.9 was thrown at me by my meter of doom, I just took it meekly and scuttled out of the room as I feared its reaction. It has been flexing its muscles lately and I don't wish to "poke the bear" so to speak...
