    Going back into Powerlifting (again!!!)

I suspect that its a combination of the beginning of the end of the honeymoon phase, and the amount of cardio he's doing. I suggest test, test and test again. he could have a small meal (protein, fats and a small amount of carbs) prior to the session with some insulin to cover this, train then...

Does Muscle Growth Increase Basal Requirements?

in laymans terms, the more you weigh the more insulin you need. it doesn't really matter if its fat weight or muscle weight (ideally muscle as that burns a lot more calories than fat) you will need more insulin. I have trained with weights since my diagnosis (24yrs) and my weight has generally...

Yes he did we are all at a loss as to why, we think after a relapse in his condition he just couldn't cope with it anymore and had had enough. He had crohns disease, and it does put you in a really dark place mentally with the never ending nature of it. It's just such a shame that it just got...

Morning all, I have decided to take control of the Meter of doom! So I girded my loins and marched up to it like a man who has his loins firmly girded, and it was sat there raging, quietly planning world domination or maybe just the domination of the pollards Sanitorium for Extraordinary...

Good morning all from a mixed bag of fog with sun! Still can't work it out but only in the windswept and interesting North will this happen. Anyway I wrestled a 5.2 out of the meter of doom, I had to dodge the spoons and butter knives it threw at me like balls bowled by Archer, except these...

    Going back into Powerlifting (again!!!)

3 training weeks left, and it doesn't look likely that I will hit my goal weights. I can't walk for a day after training and anything over 200kg on the deadlift is torture, but being as stubborn as I am I will still compete (this time just because I can and enjoy it) and will see what next year...
