    Keep on trying, I too have struggled with my weight all my life. Now that I have diabetes and have greatly reduced my carb intake, I am hopeful that this time, it will work. I wish you all the best success, please keep us posted, it is great to have you here in this thread. :)

    Hi Jennifer, I am so glad you are here on this thread and - wow- you are so inspirational to us too! Your chart is very interesting to look at, with a couple of ups as well as downs, but with an overall downward trajectory which is very encouraging to see as a disappointing result on the scale...

    Hi Jim, thank you. I am weighing everything religiously and keeping to 1400 calories and also keeping my carbs low, it is the first time in my life that I have eaten cheese, butter and cream and still lost weight! I am exercising (moderately, not intensively) for an hour 6 days out of 7 as well.

    I lost 3lbs this week! I must say, I feel I am having to really work hard now. It's a challenge, but worth it.
