    Wow, 5lbs and a nice result since early September, you will get to 200lbs in no time. I am finding walking, lower carb and calorie counting to be working for me too!

    That is a great loss in a week and yes, cycling 300 miles in October will indeed shift some weight, I am sure. Keep us posted on your progress (both on the bike and on the scale).

    Sorry, @filly that is disappointing, hopefully it will come off next week along with another pound or two. Ah, well at least you hadn't gained, @IanBish but I bet that fried rice was good. You are doing well @EllieM - another step in the right direction. Losing your holiday weight is excellent...

    I have a family member with a similar problem, type2 and struggles to maintain their weight. Increasing fats and protein and eating little and often seem to help. I think now you're in insulin, that should help too.
