    What my BGM is showing

It looks as though you only fitted the sensor a few hours ago. If you feel fine I wouldn't worry unduly. See what it reads tomorrow; it could just be an anomaly.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

For tea tonight I defrosted a home made chicken curry, and served it with half a pouch (<30g carbs) of basmati rice.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I used to make a lovely pea and mint soup, LivingLightly. I should maybe make some more of it.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I've tried this one. I thought it was a bit bland, but maybe it has improved lately.

They weren't, LivingLightly, they were frozen. The meal wasn't planned, and was a bit rushed. However, I didn't realise that Paris was renowned for its carrot production.

    Aldi greek style yogurt

The 10% Greek and the 10% Greek-style are about the same in terms of carbs. However, the 0% Greek-style has about 3 times the carbs as the 10% version.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Pretty much a freezer lunch today: stewed steak, Parisian carrots, garden peas and a few starch-resistant (frozen) roast potatoes. Not as nice as cooking from scratch, but it wasn't bad all in all.

    Gastric reflux question

So we should maybe switch to a sort of sourdough pasty and sausage roll? Maybe you have a point.

    Gastric reflux question

I'm sorry that you had a hiatus hernia and other gut issues, Lamont D. But I'm sure I don't have one. In fact the symptoms have been absent since that fateful day of overdosing on pasties and sausage rolls. I guess that the occasional pasty would be okay. But I still don't understand why too...

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Thanks, @Prancy. The weight loss has been quite sluggish recently, so hopefully this'll help.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

A bit hungry, so an early lunch. Quite simple: just fried bacon and scrambled eggs.

Thanks, LeafyArts - I may put some muscle weight on but I should hopefully lose more fat.

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Over the past four weeks I've lost 6 lbs. I've joined a gym and am going today, and intend on sticking with it.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Another day, another curry. This time a chicken Vindaloo, rather than a beef Madras. Served with about 30g of carbs in the form of Basmati rice.

You're quite right, @LivingLightly - it certainly did. I'm making a chicken Vindaloo tomorrow, so wish me luck!

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

For dinner tonight I defrosted the home-made beef Madras, and served it with a small portion of Basmati rice (<30g carbs). It perked up my taste buds which had been dulled by Covid.

It has, @LivingLightly - it's certainly better, but not quite fully back yet.
