Thanks @Baruney - will do! Tough times never last - tough people do. Question is am I tough enough? Think I'm being tested. [emoji35] Definitely don't need to be found wanting! Grrr!

It's fun in the big smoke - no? ;) Best way to describe my state at the moment is "Still breathing!" Hey, ho.

Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

6.2 mmol / L this morning. 5.4 mmol / L at bed time. Was in bed before midnight. Still busy dealing with life's challenges so stress is elevated. The good sleep helps though! ;)

7.5 mmol / L this morning. 5.2 mmol / L at bed time. Bed time past 1am but, grateful to get around 8 hours sleep. Been very busy recently - hence absence from here. Hoping to resume normal service soon - whatever normal is! ;)

That is fascinating. I wonder if I run low during the night too? I often wake 2 or more times but, have never tested my blood. You've piqued my interest now so will test tonight - bet I sleep right through now! LOL

Thanks for the suggestion. I certainly have and currently have a saving fund for one! Unfortunately, life keeps getting in the way and the saving fund - even though it's the last resort - gets raided. :( Could also do with a good stable night time routine as a baseline for any changes to be...

What are the ingredients in those crumpets? Sounds highly suspicious? I'm not sure but, have you considered reactive hypoglycaemia? Just my initial thoughts.

"Pizza effect" with the Pukka Pie pastry? They make it with lard like pastry was meant to be made. Well done on loosing your stone - if it were plural it would sound painful! Wait, what, too far? ;) Seriously though, congratulations! [emoji106] On a final note where's my eighty pence?

Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

6.9 mmol / L this morning. 4.7 mmol / L at bed time. Slept through alarm or more likely switched it off in my sleep. So, undoubtably surfing my dawn phenomenon this morning - with added stress!
