Hi David. Im like clock work for checking mine! To get into a habit, why dont you set 3-4 alarms a day to remind you (on vibrate!!). Once in the morning before breakfast, once before lunch, before tea and before bed. You'll soon remember!

Not meaning to sound morbid but read an article the other day about how having diabetes cuts your life expectancy. It really annoyed me and has played on my mind since. Surely if you look after yourself you can lead a long life?
Hey. Emotions can have a massive effect on sugars so even if youre eating well your levels can still be skewed. Depression and low mood use up a lot of energy and if you are weepy with it this can raise your bg. If you feel youre eating well i would concentrate on trying to manage the low moods.
