LAwns are a waste of space, require far too much maintenance. Give me flowers, shrubs, grasses and edibles anyday. A wild meadow would be something but my patch ain't large enough. :)

It was splendid, not Muddy but very dry reminded me of French Pine Forests. I think some of the Silver Birch will be OK, time will tell.

Well my GPS tells me my bike ride was 3 hours 44 minutes and I was moving for 3 hours 11 minutes at an average speed of 13 mph. Maths no up to mentally calculating the distance covered but I must have been flying on the down hills because the ups were certainly that fast. :) Celandine all...

Good Morning and 5.8 for me today. Now that is a real surprise as Dinner yesterday evening ended up being a high carb affair, half a large baked potatoe, quiche of which I eat all the pastry and 5 bean salad in a wonderful olive oil and Dijon Mustard dressing. All these are off my list of foods...

Thank you, I did in the final stages decide to add a blue wash so thus the cooler feel. Iasnt sure it had benifited the painting. Like the style and colours of your landscape, rigger brushes are my favourite brush these days, I often use them side on across the paper which is not how they are...

Good Morning and 5.9 for me today. Under 6 at last evenif only just, needs to be lower. Foggy here a proper pea souper. No industry here and so mist not fog. My cousin announced they are dropping in for a cuppa in our garden this afternoon so I hope the weather delivers what is promised. Feels...

Hugs for lack of sleepiness. Winner for the art capturing that moment I know so well. Stop, look and listen to the world and then find yourself lost in its beauty.

Thank you, and yes you are so right. I do get out lots on my bike as we are lucky to have Cannock Chase right on the doorstep. It's something within me maybe, perhaps a little too content, maybe too upbeat, I don't know, I will however find my muse and give her a good talking to. :)

Well thank you and I appreciate your appreciation. But for me and probably other artists, it's that eternal progression drive and at the moment I ain't progressing. I need to work harder.

Finished watercolour of Beech woods I ride through, not sure I like it, actually I don't. Muse not returned so I am planning to do some Plein Air Sketching with silhouettes in mind and then starting some proper watercolour pieces. So here is the watercolour, Beech Trees and track I ride. A4...
