The OP is talking about insulin so I assume type 1. Cider is possibly the worst thing you can drink alcohol wise, better off with a spirit and diet mixer but make sure yopu have some carbs generally at the end of the night to avoid a hypo.
I would stongly suggest you test your blood sugars buy buying a meter and strips. then at least you can have some actual evidence to back up feeling unwell and point you in the correct direction carb wise.
yes I find that lower carbs throught a day will reduce my insulin need overnight leading to hypos the next morning if I'm not careful.
I suppose you could look at it as you could reduce/remove drugs if you really applied lc?

Its not really feasible to keep an insulin pump with blood monitoring equipment - a pump is on your person the tester is in a bag. I have no need or intention to keep it all together. Are you diabetic Tom?
