They say they're running out of space and I might need an op to replace the fluid in my eye with a saline solution and sort out some scar tissue that's pulling on the vessels. Anyone know what this is all about?. My vision in this eye is...

Don't believe all the doctors say...

Dear god! that sounds awful. I'm beginning to wonder where these doctors are getting their qualifications!. I would do regular blood tests and keep a record of them. I haven't heard of that type of insulin before or if its a pen dosage or a once or twice daily injection. I have had type 1...

Don't believe all the doctors say...

I suffer from night hypos and have to set my alarm for 2-3 hours after I go to bed. If my BG is low I use Lucazade and then a banana as the quick acting sugar in the drink sorts out the hypo and the banana keeps my BG at a reasonable level till the morning. Only problem with this is that I...

    Skin Conditions

Hey I have had these legions on both shins now for about 7 months now and was told by my doctor that glucose adheres itself to the fat under the skin on the thin covering part of your body ie your shins. I don't think it ever goes away but it can be reduced by religious blood glucose...

Funny that, I used to take my Glargine in the mornings but was advised to take it with my evening meal by my GP when i had the night hypos about once a month. They have reduced since i changed to evenings but maybe that's more to do with the extra blood tests I've been doing.
