Has anyone taken pregabalin for numbness in legs/feet? It's pretty disabling and has been for last 5 months. I am open to any medication that will help!

I know! I think they've tested for everything! I'm even having B12 injections ( I've had 3 and 3 more to go) zIm taking pregabalin, Hoping something will help me.

I noticed a bit of numbness but my docs didn't see any problem then it got worse suddenly, both numbness in both legs and painful feet, struggling to walk. Doc has just increased my pregabalin dose and got neuro physiotherapy today so praying for some relief.

I have had the numbness in both legs and painful pins and needles feeling in my feet for over 4 months. No difference since the start.getting me down now, Started meds about 4 weeks ago after loads of tests to rule things out But....maybe it's a waiting game!!

Yes I've heard that, although I have heard a lot of people take it even if they are on insulin. I would of course discuss this with my Doc. It seems to be the best option for my symptoms. I was put on steroids to see if they would help which has the sane effect, however I was fine. Time to...

Problem I've got is, I live in the UK and its not readily available here! I can order it but after talking to my doctor (she has not heard of it !) I need to ask about it as I take insulin so unsure if I should take it due to it lowering my blood sugar!

How are you feeling now? Still having problems with the flare up? Can I ask what your symptoms were when you first got TIND and how long they lasted. Did you take any medications?

B12 was in range although my doc prescribed supplements, tablet form but low dose. Got doc appt, again next Wednesday and a CT scan Thursday, trying to rule everything else out I think!
