What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Visiting family, also diabetic, surprised how low carb the lunch was, egg salad and cheese, dinner too, mince beef with onion on a bed of salad AND the pudding (frozen cream & raspberries thing) seems to be getting the right idea from somewhere now. Was half expecting to be plyed with pasta and...

Simple chicken breast chopped up with some coarse coleslaw for dinner Did have some yoghurt earlier with a few berries. What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Uninterruptable power supply also is a good one for the computer, thankfully although its always raining here thunder and lightning is a rare occurrence, so never invested in one. Maybe not so sensible yesterday though. Didn't eat in the daytime at all, had a tooth out and ended up grabbing a...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

We get a cuppa on and go upstairs and listen to the taran and watch the lightning together out of the big window when we can. I reckon its a magical experience. 2 fried eggs on top of a bed of Emmental and salami for lunch for me, a spoon of hummus on the side as well for good measure. That...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I still switch of my work computer and associated equipment in a thunderstorm as from experience a surge or direct strike can fry things connected to the electrics and switched on. What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Exactly, it’s often not the thing itself I guess @jessj you get used to dealing with that more out there, I’d never even seen one up close and not in the wild until lockdown so was new for me, we probably lived beside them for longer than I knew, I was certainly on a lot higher alert when...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Agree, I’d maybe have a different opinion of them if I lived in Australia for instance but the ones here are mainly harmless. Still though like a lot of fears it’s not a rational thing, I don’t mind them but understand why people get spooked.

…What are you gonna do Oh mouse, fair play about not killing them. Blimey they took a liking to that cheese plane! I would be apoplectic if they had gone near my kitchen drawers. I was putting stuff inside bags and wiping every surface, bleaching the place from orbit every morning when I...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I agree, sometimes find myself looking for a confused reaction or eek! Appetite has indeed picked up after a carbier (but still under 75g of carbs a day) week, funnily id stalled in weight loss, even went up a few lb for two weeks, maybe I was eating too little or something, as I dropped a lot...

I think there’s an old pair in the bathroom somewhere, thanks for the tip though. There is one at the leisure centre I visit for 20p but I’m afraid that I’m only just approaching the top weight it goes to, unless of course like the doctors scale it goes around again. So might try there.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Ah that’s disappointing, like you say, it could be the spices have gotten old Oh no on being bitten, ungrateful beggar! (In reality probably terrified and lashed out) Tell you a story. One night I was working burning the midnight oil, well it was about 3am and it was ever so quiet, and I’d...

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

That’s a good idea @EllieM , I didn’t think to do that before I reweighed myself this morning, but will keep that in mind. Probably have something I know the weight of too to test. I was wondering as I’d had more carbs this week than previous few weeks where I’d stalked and put on a few lb...

Erm… got on the scales early this week and not sure if they’ve gone crackers as I weighed three times in different spots in case the floor was wonky. I seem to be -12.94lb down this week. Now I know I had 2 previous weeks of putting on a bit but was properly surprised. I mean I haven’t been...
