Hi Just got home. Have spike to Animas rep, he was good as gold. Stripped the pump down, new insulin, new cannula. Left the hospital on a 7.3, had ham & eggs at about 3pm was starving, got home, did bm - 16.3 so injected 3 units but got the pump running. Rep reckons may just need more insulin...

Thanks for your reply. Now down at hospital. Numbers rising thus am from 17 - 25 that's with injecting insulin too

I have got flex links. Just done a bm - 18.8, think that's the injection that's brought that down, glad it's heading right way ☺ hopefully. Set an alarm for hour & half's time, will see what it is then, if it's not below 10 I will given insulin via pump & then check again in 2 hours. Yes I do...

Animas nurse just rang me 9.45 injected 5 units, she said to change tubing & set. At 10.25 tonight while on the phone to nurse bm was 21,tested on 2 bm kits, so now it seems injection isn't working. Got the new site in & will give it an hour & see what happens. If it isn't sorted think I may...

I'm on Humalog, from 14.5, they rose an hour later to 16.5,had 2 boiled eggs, tested again 45 mins later 16.2, just got in & done a bm & 22 injected 5 units. Got a nurse from Animas ringing me soon. Totally losing confidence in this new pump

Yes a new vial this am. Have had a rest up this afternoon. Numbers are down to 14, I did inject 5 units earlier when I was 23. Going to make a cup of coffee, drank water all day. Have something light for tea.

Very helpful lady at Animas. Went through the lot & she said everything is right?! Pump is bolusing correctly, numbers haven't come down at all - 21.5 it's just like it isn't working??

Azure thank you. I changed my insulin & set yesterday, so was surprised at how my sugars were. I've just done a bm 20.6, shall I give it another 45 mins ish? Or should I inject a couple of units

When I went to change the pump on Tuesday, the rep went through my basal rates on old pump & we put that onto the Vibe. On old pump numbers were ok, did change basal rate 2 wk ago in afternoon rate as was going slightly high (14/15) that has worked

I have checked that my basal rates are correct, they are,been right through it. My numbers have been really high, feel rough & concerned. This am woke 22, gave 5 units, 45 mins later 24,I've left pump running but injected 5 units. What is best to do? Sorry just want this to be right

Thanks CarbsRok, using leg, this am went upto 20, took dogs out about 30 mins later did a bm-26 , changed site.to other leg at 8am, just done a bm now 25!Aaaaargh sorry just really frustrating as had nothing to eat & it's frustrating! Should I change the set now or leave it another hour or so?
