Freestyle Libre (different To Last Post)

Once our trial was over we got to keep the reader and it was up to us if we bought the sensors for it. Ellie prefers the sensors to finger pricking all the time so we continued with it. So far so good

Freestyle Libre (different To Last Post)

My daughter recently started using the libre. At her appointment the libre rep discussed how the sensor worked, how to set up the reader and showed us how to apply the sensor correctly. She was really nice and answered any questions that we had. After the sensor was applied and scanned for the...

Today diabetes doesn't exist, today is parade day!

As I wave my daughter off on a parade along the sea front she doesn't have a care in the world and that's just how it should be. Surrounded by her majorettes troop, I know she's in safe hands. My heart fills with pride with how well she copes with the daily struggles of diabetes. Good luck...

Any parents with kids using freestyle libre?

Our daughter was diagnosed in February and has a tough time with her blood sugars in a morning. We were contemplating purchasing a libre but like you say it's quite expensive. I spoke to the DN to see what her thoughts were and it turns out our hospital offers a 2 week 'try before you buy'...

    Problems with lantus

My daughter hates her lantus injections as they sting so much. Her DN suggested using ice on it first and this has made it much more bearable for her x Sent from my iPhone using DCUK Forum mobile app
