Went for another random blood sugar test after not eating for 3 hours. It was 8.9 and the GP suggested that I get a HBa1c done!! Could it still be diabetes?? Thanks

I dont have a fever and i am limiting my carbs but i dont eat alot of carbs in my diet,its just mainly chicken and soup
