Yes this hot weather does certainly makes a difference as I put on yesterday had three during afternoon and one during late evening good job I know when there going to happen still feeling rough today but sugars not to bad so please take care while hot weather continues stay safe.

Hi edgemac if you don't see anything in instructions I would give manufacturers a ring I use a nexus Rx meter and a nexus hct for testing ketones I've had a few problems in the past with these meters but one call to nexus and they tell me what's wrong or send me a replacement just a thought...

Hi jackiew welcome to the forum if you're worried about disposal of used needles you can get a needle clip device on prescription not sure if they still do this? It's a device that you place the needle onto a hole and it cuts needle off only a thought good luck and have a nice time.

Hi kerry74 I must say I haven't noticed my sugars going low due to hot weather but I do try to keep out of the sun when it's really hot as I know sweating can lower b's also do try to drink more so don't get dehydrated.all the best for future.

Hi sheepie123 yes all test strips react when exposed left out of their original containers they recommend you take out test strip just before you test but you live and learn all the best.
