    I am an OAP Type 2, on metformin and insulin. Recently, I feel as vague as I did in the days when I had PMT and found it hard to concentrate on difficult tasks. Not all the time, just sometimes. Why should this be?

    Morning headache

    Last night, I went to sleep about 1am feeling fine after a lovely day. Woke at 6.30 with nausea, headache and feeling poorly. This happens a lot to me. My blood reading was 6.1. Could I have had a hypo during the night? What happens in those night time hours to change how I feel?

    Loss of insulin?

    Occasionally when I inject my insulin, a large blob of blood appears when I withdraw the needle. Will the insulin I have injected come back out in this slight loss of blood?

    Eating after a hypo

    I had a bad hypo ( no warning) the other night, 2.9, and was so ravenous I could have eaten my hand. I took 3 Lucozade tablets at once and made myself a snack. My husband says I should have waited 10 mins after eating the Lucozade before eating the snack, but I couldnt. Does it really matter?

    I am in Scotland and attend Western general every 6 months for my care.They organise my eye exams and diets but am wondering what I can expect re someone caring for my feet. I go to a chiropodist and get nails trimmed etc but would like someone to look at the bone that appears to have grown...

    Can insulin give you PMT?

    thanks Tracey. I take medication for my under active thyroid and it is carefully monitored. My readings fluctuate erratically. This odd feeling is recent. I may get some B6s, I used to swear by them 20 years ago!

    Can insulin give you PMT?

    I am an OAP and should not have PMT but recently thats how I have felt. I started a new insulin - could it be that? I was on Novamix but am now on Novarapid and Humulin.

    Feelings of PMT

    I recently changed my insulin to novorapid during the day and humulin for during the night. I used to be on novamix. Recently since changing I feel as if I have PMT which is daft as I am an OAP. Could it be the new insulin?
