    advice re dental work

I had a tooth removed last Friday my bs went up from the stress. If it helps the large filling that I had at the same time is causing me more soreness than the extraction.

What is the story with Diabetes UK?

My DN gave me their web address as the online place to go. I'd already found this site and forum, got my Libre and started seeing what carbs (OMG look at how high my BS goes when I eat them) did and had started on an LCHF diet and felt great as a result. Personally I am hoping that my 3...

Do infections (colds) raise BG ?

I had a tooth out today and it wasn't an easy extraction. My Libre measured 6. afterwards. It hasn't made it up to 6 in weeks so I'm putting it down to stress of tooth extraction.

Carbs. When can I have some lol

At the start of my change of diet I took water and nuts everywhere with me. If I felt at all lacking in energy I'd eat a few nuts. Nuts that I ate were brazils, macadamia and pecans.

    Another Question - Monitors

I also agree. At first I loved the Libre but it's driving me nuts at the moment. An example is this morning I scan and the result is 2.9.

    Type 2 Help with cravings!

I find that if I have diet drinks like Pepsi they give me cravings. When I first started I used to take a bottle of mineral water and a pot of nuts everywhere with me. I was so used to having false hypos that I needed some snack foods as a support. Now I don't need the nuts and hardly ever...

    Blood sugar spike

If blood sugar rises by .5 is that a sugar spike? A sugar spike is often mentioned as something that is a problem but it's just a normal reaction? If it can't be avoided then why is it a problem?

    Blood sugar spike

I've tried searching for this but am just getting mentions of it rather than a definition I just need a straight answer. What is a blood sugar spike? Lots of you mention it but what exactly is it.

    Life with Libre

The one that hurts is up towards the top of my arm and towards the front of it. It aches all of the time, much worse than a finger prick would. I've got one day left of wearing it, if the first one had felt like this then I'd never have carried on using them. have you found any difference...

    Life with Libre

Time for a confession I don't have a mobile phone. <g>. So no app for me. The last sensor has been uncomfortable to wear, arm aching since applying it and new one that went on today hurt like a bee sting but isn't hurting anymore. So I'm not feeling the love for the Libre at the moment.
