Back down to 5.9 this morning, so back in the green. A pretty good night's sleep too so fingers crossed we are back in the zone now.

6.7 this morning - don't feel I did a huge amount wrong yesterday so perhaps the weather is affecting me? None-the-less, it's right in my neutral zone, so I'll take it.

5.9! Back in the green! Still coughing when laying down so another suboptimal nights sleep, but if it means I'm back down where I belong, I'll take that!

6.8 this morning, going into the third week of this bug/virus/plague (whatever you want to call it). I'd sell my soul for a good night's sleep, but the figures are going back down in the right direction so that is a good starting point.

7.0 after a night of debauchery in which I had a too large portion of Eton Mess at my fisncee's friends wedding. I was weak and capitulated. I don't regret it though as it tasted amazing. Firmly back on the trail as of today.

6.6 this morning. After last night's indulgences (surprisingly restrained) and a late night, I'm not too sad with that.

6.5 this morning, so as you were it seems. Off for anniversary meal and as its my last "event" before Christmas, I'm expecting to enjoy it and pay the price for the next few days. After that, it's full steam ahead to Christmas and two months of being well behaved at almost every turn.

6.5 this morning, coupled with a dreadful night's sleep. Could do with just getting one good night, and having a good run at getting well after being poorly for what seems to be about three weeks... never mind, 6.5 is still well within the parameters.

6.2 this morning as I commute back into the city for the second time since March 2020. Pleasing to see the fightback against the red 7's continuing.

Back down to 7.2 today, so still in the red but a little over half a point down from yesterday so we have to take the "wins" as and when they come.

A frankly upsetting 7.8 this morning (the highest I've been since records began in July) which may partly be explained by my forgetting to have my Metformin yesterday as well as this very stubborn cough. Either way, I need to get myself back on track & right now, I'm not sure what I can do other...

And now the big swing of variance kicks in. Returned from holiday, started behaving myself, got a very good night's sleep (the first in about a week) and... 7.5! Can only presume it is a delayed hangover from being naughty the past few days but you have to laugh!

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. Was extra bad yesterday (in advance of returning home today) and made the most of eating things I shouldn't. Recorded a 6.3 which is absolutely fine (in fact, it's about a point lower than I expected it to be!!!) Back aiming for the green as of...
