What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Thanks, I was planning to but it was so wet, I reckon I wouldn't have got back up again!

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.7 this morning which is perplexing. Didn't get to do the walk planned yesterday as the weather was just too foul. Ended up just walking around the shore of Windermere before proposing to my now fiancee there rather than on the top of a hill. Some celebration at an Indian in Kendal which I...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning 1 in the Lake District as part of my partner's late birthday gift & a 6.1 to start off proceedings. Considering I slept terribly due to the hacking cough & a bit of red wine, I'll absolutely take that. Doing a Wainwright walk today which pre low carb me would never thought possible (only...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.0 again for me. Hopefully entering the end of this flippin' bug as the horrible phlegmy cough is now here. Off for a few days in the Lake District so hopefully the fresher air/extended walking will blow the cobwebs away

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.8 this morning, and that was after a handful of Thornton's chocolates last night (albeit a pretty low carb day overall). No idea what the take away from that is but if that is the cross I have to bear for good levels, so be it

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Down to 21st 6lbs, which is a personal low (had got down to 21st 7.75lb back at the end of August after a filthy bug) after a period of yo-yo. Chuffed to little mintballs.

I am nothing but consistent. 6.2 this morning.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

If red wine and a cold keeps the red numbers at bay then, maybe I need to consider it an occupational hazard! Not the ideal preparation for three days in the Lake District though...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

(Managed to post this somewhere else, inexplicably... clearly a lack of sleep affecting my judgement!) An amazing 6.1 this morning. Was out for sister in law and father in law's birthday and allowed myself two glasses of red (first alcohol in three and a half months) and a slice of birthday...

What was your bg reading last night and this morning?

An amazing 6.1 this morning. Was out for sister in law and father in law's birthday and allowed myself two glasses of red (first alcohol in three and a half months) and a slice of birthday cake so that, on top of my still stubbornly clinging on cold, meant I was expecting to rack up big numbers...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.0 this morning, after a pretty rotten night's sleep. Just going through the motions of this awful cold/bug thing but I will keep on keeping on.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Another 5.6 for me, despite the lingering lurgy sticking on dourly. Sneezing and sniffling has finished but a sore throat has replaced it. My Fitbit tells me I slept quite well both of the last two nights but I don't buy it as I feel just as tired as when I went to bed!

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Despite being on deaths door (mildly unwell) with a raging disease (a cold), I've managed to post a 5.6 this morning.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

A respectable if not spectacular 6.2 this morning. Possibly a minor hangover from the weekend but it is still well within the bounds of A-okay.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I don't know if this is still relevant but I got a couple of packs in the Dartford store on Friday afternoon

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.6 this morning which actually might be a tad disappointing given I was extremely busy yesterday, ate properly and early but then excused by an awful night's sleep (the absolute worst) so how I'm in the green at all is a wonder!

    Weekly weigh in - Fridays

Down two and three quarter pounds this week, so delighted to nail that after a few weeks of not troubling the scorers.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.5 this morning, so another jolly morning in the green! Sing hosannas!

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Managed to break into the green today with a 5.0! Don't know whether it was because I had my main meal at lunchtime with only a few egg muffins and some sausages in the early evening but I was almost scared it would be lower because I haven't got a colour coding for below 5!

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Another day, another 6.0. I'm fine with that, I think. That tends to be my "normal" number and anything in the green is a positive. I think tomorrow may well be the day I get back in the 5's so I am going to try extra hard to get excited about it!
