In a lot of cases it is a better option what they are doing for you. You should get more specialist advice. Best thing that ever happened to me, but the clinic I go to they are fantastic and nothing is to much bother for them

Before most of us will answer accurately we will want to know what meds your on. As for the gp saying that type2 does not have hypo's is scandalous to say the least.

If you get bs under control and your balanced diet sorted there is a good chance you will never need to go onto insulin. But it also depends on a lot of other factors
