Hi, I just came across your thread today. I’m wondering how you are and how you are coping now. I hope that things have improved for you. Did you watch the video of Dr Bernstein that was posted. I have taken comfort from that... hoping that getting blood sugars under control - easier said than...

It seems that there are many more books on the Second World War than on the First. I’ll send you two novels which you may have already read or seen the films. And I’ll get back to you later with other titles as I have a terrible memory so I’ll have to look them up. I’m reading World War One...

Type 1 what to do when don’t feel as I’d get the care I need!

Hi, I found when I was able to use Libre (I can’t now as after a few months I developed a really terrible allergic reaction to the adhesive) that my Hba1c was actually lower by 0.4/5points than my Libre estimate. So hopefully you will be nearer the 7.5 mark[emoji120] Anyway, I don’t see why...

Hi, I think you should contact your GP and get an emergency appointment. I’m type one so I don’t really know much about type 2. But your levels are really high and if you are ill they can only go higher. High Blood glucose levels over a period of time can and do cause all sorts of diabetes...

Please go to casualty and get yourself checked out. You could be type one as many others have mentioned. You have dangerously high bg levels and although I don’t want to frighten you you could fall into diabetic coma. Please go to A&E and let us know how you get on. Big hug xxx
