I had the animas pump before the 2020, think 1200 or something. Anyway, the buttons had had so much use they just wouldn't work when you pressed them. You had to use a sharp finger nail to get them to work and was driving me mad. Eventually the rubber broke on the buttons, split and couldn't use...

:lol: :lol: I wish I had an animas 2020 but have been put off them with what happened to my old animas's buttons. Had they not broken I could still be using it :(

Re: Flu jab 2010. I didn't get a flu shot or swine flu shot last year and I'm still alive. Haven't had once since 2007 so am skipping it again this year. Living on the edge :P

I'm reading 'Skin Privilege' by Karin Slaughter. It's a series of books, they are very good and a bit gruesome.

It's -5 right now in Coventry. I can't wait for the Summer to return. 8)

The flexlinks are awful. I tried one. It hurt like hell once it was in, didn't feel right and just yuck. Whipped it straight back out and a big lump appeared :roll:

My pump is broken I've had to take it off. The pump bit works but the buttons no loner work, and some of the covering for them has fallen off. I won't be getting this make of pump again and I doubt I will ever get another one as hospital don't seem to want to bother. These needles are horrible :(

I don't think i've had tenderlink, can't remember. Are they the angled ones? don't like them :(

Firstly, thanks for actually taking the trouble to answer my questions today :D secondly i've never used a 12mm needle, the thought scares me!!! :shock:

How many mm are they at the moment? Mine are 6mm. I don't like the sound of the link assist I have to say. But, we are all different :D

Which infusion set do you use? I used Inset II and they are spring loaded. I used to have some from Accu Chek which I hated because you had to stick them in yourself. Do they do spring loaded ones now?
