    it's costly but my friend on MDI got one and she loves it. only takes lilly or sanofi insulins though.

    Tea tree oil is good when you take a site out. Cleans the area and stops any redness I ound

    Hope tomorrow goes well. I wasnt allowed tresiba insulin as its too expensive (um cheaper than pump!) but hey! Luckily levemir is being kind to me.

    Im writing everything down in a book. Why i took how much i did wjat i ate and did etc.. I test 2 to 3 times each night too and have pens next to bed and as soon as i wake up i do them or would forget and thats it. My pens are red and green. Still almost mixed them up!

    I found going the basal later 11pm I the only way I can stop the DP. Any earlier and I will hypo then go high. I usually get up each day at 7.45am so I stay in bed and do Levemir an Humalog then get up at 8am. If I want to eat I will at 8.15 but if I don't want anything I just have 1u Humalog to...

    Yes but I have it at 8am and currently 8u then seems to be working. Then at 8pm I have an extra 1u Humalog as there is a bit of a gap in the basal.

    I had mine at 11pm laat night. 8U lev and finally that seems to have stopped my DP was same number all night. Granted it was always in the 9s but i didnt want to correct to see what happened. So feeling quite hopeful about that. Just days to work out. Think i may need to space the levemir 12hrs...

    Gave my pump back today. First put on it in 2005. I would probably have carried on but being lumped with the big heavy medtronic 640g pump was the final straw. So i am MDI now whether I like it or not but I do like it. Feel so much happier even nurse could tell. Not allowed tresiba only allowed...

    i would def lower your levemir tonight. it seems to get quite potent once you've been on it 3 days and it has established itself into your body. i think you will have a few adjustments as yet but going in the right direction. good stuff! :)

    with me, if i am less active, at the weekend, i leave my over night basal the same otherwise i go hypo but i add 2units to my 8am dose on a saturday and sunday. on a monday i am my most active and i give 6u and the rest of the days 7u. the thing with levemir is it seems to be very flexible with...
