I have just discovered these after reading the forum. All I can say is wow I had one grilled with mushrooms ham and cheese with a splash of Worcester sauce fab.
I agree I found going for a walk for say half a hour after a meal makes a big difference also feeling general better in myself more awake not feeling like a cat nap on a afternoon
So after a week on lchf and being very good no bread, potatoes or root vegetables, rice, pasta, and so on my blood levels have gone from around 13.5 to ..... between 5.4 and 6.9 over the last couple of days i would just like to thank all the great people in this forum for their help and advice.
As long as you stick to the same time of day it will be fine. I work shifts so I always take mine at the same time (in the evening) whether I'm getting up or coming in from work works well for me as it's always 24 hrs apart.
I'm type 2 so may differ but I have found rice crackers don't affect my blood levels at all compared to crisps and they come in a few flavours, sweet chilli, sour cream, salt and vinegar. Nice for a snack if you prefer savoury over sweet.
Going shopping tomorrow morning chicken thighs are on the list as is whole chicken as we have a rotisserie cooker love the smell of roast chicken in the kitchen.
