Thanks, @KennyA
-I remember my Diabetes nurse showing me a TT sample of what glycated Hemoglobin looks like in vitro and how sluggish it was due to the precipitated sugar/viscosity around the erythrocytes/blood cells. It was very creepy. That was a wakeup call. I'm due for a blood work recall...
Is there some kind of index to convert our BG (e.g. my BG levels in the morning are below 6mmol/L. ) levels to an HbA1c value? I keep on forgetting to ask my M.D.? Thanks!
At 6:30 a.m. 6.8mmol/L. I went to bed with a half cup of mini shreddies on my stomach. Asked for that. Went for a brisk 1km walk before breakfast to try and blow off that sugar. No change.
Woke up to a 5.2 mmol/L BG this morning and didn't run yesterday. This has to be good.

(Back from a 5km run this a.m. with a BG of 6.7mmol/L)
My BG have been below 7 for ages and stable so I don't test regularly. I'm on Komboglyze.
I went out for a 3km walk after taking my evening dose without eating. When I got back my BG was 5.5mmol/L.
This is how big I was in 2014. My avatar, that was taken about two months ago.
Thanks @Lainie71
That feedback is so encouraging.
Yes, I will let my M.D. know my progress next visit/bloodwork. I keep on forgetting to ask for my Hb1Ac value though.
Yeah, when I weighed 270lbs, way back, I kept my clothes aside as an incentive to work off the weight. For most my outdoor...
I've improved my body weight with jogging/running routines but it's taken ten years and it's been a roller coaster ride. I think I've licked it now though. I'm back into clothes I've kept for over ten years as motivators. I'm low carb-ing now don't like having a full stomach anymore.
My blood...
Has anyone noticed improvement with floaters taking these AREDS (aka Vitalux?)
My eyes always feel stressed, but I'm noticing the amount of floaters is reducing and growing fainter.
I'm a low carb-er, 150g carbs/day is my goal.
My blood glucose hasn't been above 7mmol/L max in ages.
Thanks,
Gary
Thanks, I'm a big lug with huge bones and muscle, 21cm wrist. More muscle mass is the last thing I want or need, chuckle!
I do a 4-5km run every two or three days, mostly for BG control, depression control, and heart health.
