Isn't that inserter one you are meant to replace every so often? I'm not on the same one but I remember seeing something similar on my pump training and being told it wears out and then causes insertion problems. Might be worth trying a new inserter?

Hi Jagger That's right they aren't making the 2020 and they would be replacing your pump anyway because the 2020 has a software fault that means it will stop working at the end of next year (you should have had a letter about that). The vibe is pretty much the same apart from a few tweaks...

Animas just told me the same thing and said the change is due to new EU regs regarding lithium batteries. They told me just to get them from my local supermarket instead but I'm not happy about the decision. Not sure if it's just cost cutting on their part.
