For me getting a diagnosis was a wake up call to changing diet and exercise which, if you're lucky enough to be able to carry it off, can significantly improve your life - however long you have to go before the curtain falls. My reflection is that without the diagnosis I would probably not have...

off the monitor scale once again!!

Hi @Johnny-45 You really do need to get proper specialist medical attention to sort out a number of your problems. You need to be pretty strict with your current doctor and demand the relevant referrals as @donnellysdogs advised in the earlier post. Good luck and keep us posted - we all want...

    Confused newbie

I went low carb healthy fat and improved blood sugar to non diabetic levels, lowered cholesterol and improved ratios markedly, lost weight and stepped up my exercise, as I felt better in myself, to around 150 minutes good exercise a week - all in 6 months and no more pills. Do the research and...

    Are we the 'chosen'?

We do not use our assets to best effect for the good of all. There are many who don't access the Forum, non diabetics and diabetics, who would benefit from an understanding of the changes in lifestyle many of us have made to improve our own situations.
