Whilst having my hip replacement recently I was bed bathed every day by 2 nurses and bed completely changed every morning. The wards are just 2 beds and cleaned twice a day Family members do not have to do...

    I have lived on Spain for many years and the health care is second to none. But there is no after care and it is down to you to arrange it . They do have social services which if you are eligible you can ask for help . They are very family orientated hospital rooms allow a family member to sleep...

    Living with a partner with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes

    I know it's hard but I would have by now suggested he moves out if he wants this one sided relationship and it may be the answer. At least when you do see him he won't be laying in bed and be responsible for himself and his medication . You would have much more quality time then ! Just a thought...

    My mum came from Dalry near New Galloway and we spent many holidays at my grandmothers farm. Visited Newton Stewart often happy memories !

    I have tried my exercise bike but also suffer numb bum syndrome and can only do 10 mins so 28 mins is great !

    Been out for a long walk today after a bit of a skive yesterday . Had a real heavy thunderstorm last night so today was nice and breezy. Walking quite well now 6 weeks on from op but still have times when i cease up after sitting so I hope this improves !

    Have been doing quite a bit of walking on the beach lately as had friends staying at hotel nearby and walked down beach to meet them . They have gone home now so will concentrate on my exercise bike if my bum will take it !!

    Walked along the beach for about half a mile and then back again feet just in the sea yesterday and boy did I feel it last night leg ached really badly so I think I overdone it ! Welcome back Zand after your couple of days off x

    I have been out walking round our local market today for over an hour with a couple of friends . I never gave into temptation and bought any shoes or handbags but did buy my weekly bunch of flowers . As an ex florist I always like fresh flowers in the house , silk ones just don't do it for me .

    Glad counselling went well and you liked her that must be a worry off your mind. All looks like it's going in the right direction x
