Type 2 BOOK 12 week meal plan by Diabetes.co.uk

I wouldn't. In the early days, I bought quite a few books. Only found one that I liked. There are plenty of recipes online, so save yourself some money.

Type 2 Revitive feet circulation booster

Used one once. After an hour my veins stood out considerably. Spoke to a podiatrist who said they could be problematic if you are susceptible to DVT. I returned it.

New here - banana question etc.

The DESMOND course may hae changed since I went. The first half consolidated stuff I had learned from the forum. Then came lunch. Out came my tub containing cheese, walnuts, olives. Out came most other peoples sandwiches, crisps, biscuits, sodas, cake, bananas, only the lady sat next to me...

New here - banana question etc.

Ask yourself why tennis players eat bananas between sets and stay away from them. Weetabix is a no no along with all other cereals. Try Bacon and egg. No toast. Have a look at dietdoctor.com for ideas.

    Help with eating

Totally agree with what others have said. Baby steps. I would suggest you stay well away from slimming clubs of any sort. They are not qualified to advise T2s on diet. I would also suggest you stay away from the scales as much as you can. Weighing yourself every day can be stressful and...

Just an update on keto/low carb high levels

Walnuts are lower carb than cashews but you are counting your carbs so you should be OK. How I miss honey roast cashews, not had any since dx.

Just an update on keto/low carb high levels

It takes around 8 hours to settle in. I usually plug myself in 24 hours before activation. It can give inaccurate readings if done too soon. Take a finger prick to check.

Your diet looks pretty good. How long did you have your libre on before you activated it?

Just an update on keto/low carb high levels

It took me 4 weeks to break the carb addiction and to start to see lower bg levels. All sorts of things can raise your levels. Stress, sleep, vax, infections etc. I would say, hang on in there a bit longer.

    Radio 4 Tues 9pm Inside HealthVegi/Vegan foods

VERY interesting listening. I an neither vegie nor vegan but will browse all sites looking for tasty stuff. Having learned about processed foods via T2, I have always been suspicious of "no meat" sausages and burgers. I was right, but so much more.....

Time to be honest with myself

You can look at making your own keto granola bars. I used to do them, Nuts and seeds, coconut, look on the internet for ideas. I used coconut oil to set. They didn't last as long as they should have when hubby found them.
