LCHF and Stool (there's no way to be delicate!)

Probably checking for swollen tissues in the prostate region - a correlation between the two issues has been observed on a few occasions in the past, so playing on the safe side IMHO.

    cinnamon tea

Just to clear things up. 1. A Ceylon: 2. A Cylon: Yes, I know - it's an easy mistake to make. But I think they'd both make great cinnamon tea. (No.2 - easy on the 20/50, please...)

    Crunching noise in lower back

I've never had an empty wallet - there have always been a couple of moths left over when the cash has gone....they just crawl to the edge & fall off - I suppose it's because they have never had the chance to learn how to fly.....

    Very happy day !

Yeah - well done! I am very familiar with the Eastern European love affair with carbs & stodge (not being racist 'cos I myself am a (proud) member of that community!) so I appreciate the significance of your achievement. Now all you've got to do is keep it up!

    Parking fine...treating hypo!!!

Don't be confused - they are grabbing bas*tards who care about nothing but money. Little scope for confusion there, I fear. Get in touch with them ASAP to explain what happened. Did you have a witness with you? You might want to have a look at PePiPoo (www.PePiPoo.com) ((QUIET AT THE BACK...

Scared - diagnosed with heart murmur

Hi again TL - I too am T2 diet controlled but I do suffer from very slight numbness on the sole of my right foot...I use alpha lipoic acid and a methyl B12 supplement which seems to keep things in check. Worth giving it a try?

Scared - diagnosed with heart murmur

Hi Tigerlily Tingling & stinging....could it be neuropathy? Has anyone mentioned this as a possibility? Anyway, glad all else seems to be OK. Remember the old Mark Twain quote - "In life, I have worried about many things - most of which never happened..."

Is this anything to do with them pesky robots in Battlestar Galactica?

    cinnamon tea

Death Cap mushrooms (Amanita phalloides) are 100% organic - but you really wouldn't want to eat them (the clue's in the name...). Likewise peach kernels and apple pips (a great source of cyanide, no less!), foxglove flowers (digitalin), hemlock, poison ivy, etc., etc., etc.....just because it's...

    Type 2 Diabetes and Depression

Hmmm....let me think....:) PS - Big Alan - not so big now! 10 stones - very, very well done, mate. You'll get there.

Please help me, help my partner

Difficult one, this. Without knowing your (as a couple) personal circumstances, it could be that your OH is trying to establish the fact that he is the one in control of his situation - even if that "control" only amounts to doing nothing. Does he feel railroaded? If you feel that you have...

    Type 2 Diabetes and Depression

????....Don't think so - FWIW, I think it can go with the territory..in fact, I know it does...I have suffered on and off for years BUT I also think we may in a better place to deal with it - we CAN get a grip of this illness and that in itself can give you something to build on. Certainly...

    mystery weight gain

I agree with Freema & jonbvm - a trip to the doctor would not go amiss. Hope all turns out OK for you.

Idiotic rubbish. The Telegraph. And you're surprised? (Agreeing with you, BTW!)

    Constipation

Blimey - is that the gold-plated version? Try an Asian shop - a bit (LOTS) cheaper than £17......you can get it from £1.00 - £3.00 for 100g, even from Tesco or Asda. Caveats: 1. ALWAYS take with lots of water - otherwise, it can worsen constipation, rather than easing it. 2. Psyllium has been...
