    First time posting in 2 years or so . 8.5 this morning at 7am . I just had jardiance added to my list of meds a few days ago . My numbers are slightly down but my kidneys seem to be working overtime .

    Boiled egg ,round of grilled back baconwith 2 slices of GI bread with coffee Cooked Chicken ,very small quantity of mash , broccoli + garden peas . Toasted gi bread with tuna spread with small quantity of baked beans .. Trying so hard to get back to mid 5s but it ain't happening anymore one...

    Back after years fasting levels 9.2 and I'm finding metformin doing very little , back with original symptoms pre DN of visiting the loo through the night, drink 5+ pints to keep mouth from sticking through the night and always feeling drained . Have app on 15th with nurse .

    Stewfox. Try and be calm my friend , I am only new to this group and no little about my T2 doctor confirmed 2 weeks ago . I can tell you like yourself I could not keep my eyes open ,stop drinking water having to run to toilet day and night etc , it took 11 days before my metformin started...
