    Would that not depend on type of diabetes?? I can and do eat whatever I want, as long as I count the carbs correctly and take the correct amount of insulin at the correct then my BGs will stay in target and will have a pretty steady line

    If I am high I get cramps in the back of my legs and get very thirsty I have no hypo awareness and rely on my Libre/Miaomiao combination to alarm me when I am low

    Hi @Danny72 meters are allowed a discrepancy/tolerance of 15% of what the BG readings actually are. My advice.....stick to using 1 meter else you will get very confused very quickly

    T1 and shift work.

    @LooperCat I did shift work in my early 20s when I wasn't a "model" diabetic. It was continental shifts with a lot of overtime involved. Before I started the shift I would have my breakfast, then roughly 5 hours later dinner (packed lunch) the when I got home would have Tea. Basal was done...
