Type 1 Viscous cycle of hypos and highs?!

Hi @Sunshine2297 as Jaylee has said, check your lows/highs with a finger prick test as the Libre can be a fair bit out when hi/Lo. I use Jelly Babies myself for lows, 3 JBs = 15g carb eat those then check 15 mins later and repeat if necessary. You do the right thing with the digestive...

    Abbot Libre system

@Brunneria if my readings are high or low then I do a finger prick test anyway. Even then the readings are favorable to my finger prick tests. I am one of the lucky ones who gets accurate readings 90% of the time

    Abbot Libre system

The Libre combined with the Miaomiao is really good. The MM allows you to calibrate the Libre readings with a finger prick test. I happily puit these readings into my pump and bolus with them

    Courses on treating type1

HI @Triscornia Some very wise words off JuicyJ there. I have been T1D for 49 years and it still confuses me on times. You can eat the same thing time and time again and get different BG readings all the time. Mastering it? Ermmm I don't think anyone will ever master it.....The only...

Best combination to go with MiaoMiao for wrist reading

Hi @LittleGreyCat I have a Ticwatch pro which is used alongside my MM and phone. The Ticwatch can be used standalone (no phone near) but it does lose connection a lot. I have my phone near me 95% of the time so do not bother using my watch standalone

    Too much insulin ??

Hi @Mad76 Simple answer to both questions is no! If your pancreas was working as it should then how ever much insulin you needed for food would be produced.... If you need to bolus 7 times a day to keep your bloods in line then that is fine....

Welcome @Razzamuffin As Juicyj has said there is plenty of support on here..... hmmmmm not too sure about your comment on the fat in certain foods allows you to have treats now and again! The carbs will still raise your BG just a lot slower with fatty food. You will be able to eat what you...
