    @JamseyT1D these few times where your BGs have gone high what food had you eaten? Was it a high fat food such as pizza or rice maybe?

    I only use the belt at bed time as I clip my pump to my jeans waistband or pocket during the day and tuck the tubing in the waistband as well.

    Happy birthday @Jaylee Watlaa watch... Ensure the watch is up to date (firmware version 0.5.1) you can check that in "settings" , "system Info". Make sure your MM is not "connected" to anything ie Xdrip, or whatever programme you are using. You may have to reset the MM BUT give it a try...

    @AlanaPerrin you are more than likely still in your honeymoon stage of your type 1 story and will be producing insulin randomly for a while. Honeymoon last for different amounts of times for different people. Also different foods will spread their carbs out over a longer time, usually fatty foods

    Hi @BeckyBumbleBee I waited around 47 years to be put on a pump. I had the same reservations as @Juicyj such as trusting a machine to give me insulin and the how will I manage with something connected to me 24/7. I had got my A1C down to 65 and could not get it down any further while on MDI...

    I find beers and lagers raise my bloods pretty quickly. I tend to stick to spirits with sugar free mixers my fav at the mo is rum and diet coke. Give it a try at home before you go out

    Morning all. Reason for my sudden onset of DP. Dodgy site selection for my canula! Was on the side of my leg. Swapped out last night and hey presto back to normality.....well low 4s at the moment but will take that :)

    Lockdown has caused spike in sugars.. can anyone else help!??

    If I am unsure then I will under estimate and go higher rather than the dreaded hypo. I am hypo unaware and it can cause problems. Luckily the Libre/MM/Xdrip combo alarms me when starting to go low. PS I am not getting anything for plugging the miaomiao :hilarious:

    As @Rokaab has said - We are all different. And also eating the same foods every day can give differing results. Welcome to the type one diabetic world :)
