Sounds like you are into Heavy Metal at the skip. I hope you create some harmonious sounds. :) I like the Peony Art, you have a good eye and technique for these floral pictures. Our Peonies are in heavy bud, we shall probably miss the flowers whilst away Whit week.

Art from me at last... Based on my rides on Cannock Chase, the Larch are glowing with new needles, beautiful and I'm not doing it the majesty it deserves. Next step, background darker and left tree brought forward. A4 watercolour, will finish Thursday as it's a promising a wet day here.... .

Learn something new every day, RIz La Croix, I'm sure I passed through a place called that in mid France. Good Mountain scape in your accomplished style.

Looks like you won the battle with your art tools in the end. Well done sticking with it, I think a hammer would have been a very tempting tool to teach it a lesson. Painting all worked out in the end.

Scuppered!:banghead: Just had an email saying the Choir and Quire we sing in CAN'T hire the Community Hall as GOV rules say only 6 people can sing indoors but much larger groups can apparently exercise. The hall is large, holds 200 for events our numbers are 8 in one Choir and 20 in the other...

A fine painting of a rainy day with a promise of brighter things to come, your handling of the many different ways the light is catching the land and water is very accomplished. I admire you trying different papers, I seem to have got stuck on just one type, must branch out. I'm with you on...

Fantastic view point and perspective you have given to the Mountain Range. Rugged as it is there is something pastoral about this scene, perhaps the colours help but I feel it's more than just colour achieving the feel.

Good late Morning and 6 for me today. 5.4 yesterday. Missed posting Sunday as we had a very early start to watch Grandaughters taking part in Hunter Trials on their ponies. Turned into a real long day. Still our 10 year old came 1st in 3 classes and 8 year old 2cnd, 4th and 5th so all happy...

Good Morning and 5.9 for me today. A piece of tempting MRs MCs Victorian Sponge with Strawberry Jam thick fresh cream and fresh Strawberry Layer in the middle could be the culprit, it was only a smigin of a piece, honestly. Two eldest Grandchildren arriving for the Morning, Mrs MC says she...

A Whoops for the BG numbers. An Empathy for the messy creativity day in your art. However the Magnolia turned out pleasing enough and undoubtably some lessons learnt. Tools hide and move about in our house and shed also. I'm convinced they misunderstand the meaning of Fo It Yourself. :)

I gave a winner for the art and for facing up to what often challenges us all. Strange how emotional memories can effect how we feel about our creativity for better or worse. Painting is full of feeling and I hope you can now see how pleasing the result is.
