I recently flew to Spain. In preparation the DSN provided me with a letter indicating that I must be allowed to take all diabetes equipment including my insulin, needles and lancets etc as hand luggage. I was all prepared and they did not question anything. Hope you had the same luck

I use 4mm needles. The DSN suggested that I may need to use 6mm needles due leakage of insulin from around the.injection site. I would go for the 4mm needles Hopefully by now the chemist will have got Them for you

I was on Invokana and it reduced my HB1AC from over 100 to 80 Unfortunately it caused considerable GI problems Hope this helps

I was unable to tolerate metformin for similar reasons to yourself. Now on Canaglifloxin.

Certainly sounds like a very unpleasant experience. I have just been started on canaglifoxin and have been warned about DKA in particular that with this drug it is not always assoc with high blood sugars

Thanks for this. It is the same group of drugs. I am on this drug alone as I have not been able to tolerate any of the others I have been prescribed. This is the last drug before Insulin so I am hoping it goes okay.

Would like to find how others find this drug. I have just been started on it.
