Hi i was the person who was asking the same question. I have big problems with Hypos too i get very nervous and run my sugars high so i dont hypo. I spoke to the consultant on Monday and they have offered to put me on the Medtronic 640 g which is a pump and a CGM at the moment im on a Omnipod...

Can anyone tell me if the CGM with the Medtronic 640 shows low or high reading do you still have to test you bloods.

Yes it looks like it they would like me to go on the Medtronic because it is cheaper than the Omipod and the Dexcom, but i do a lot of sports so trying it out.

The consultant has given me a 640g to try, if i like it i can change to it from the Omnipod, like the idea that if my sugars go low then it stops insulin delivery and restarts when sugars return to normal.

Sorry to ask so many questions but I thought the 640 came with I CGM is the CGM separate. Yes since gong on the pump im going very low before i have hypo signs so i was put on the Dexcom which alarms when i go low.
