    Daily blood sugars

Cheers Jo. Could be the jab! My lancets and strips came today! I tested before my tea and it was 7.3. Whoop. Haha. I’ll have another go in an hour, which will mark the two hour point. Onwards and downwards. Thanks from a fellow Dutchie [emoji6]

    Daily blood sugars

Hi Jo Thank you for your reply. I will commit to more regular testing once my extra lancets and strips come through [emoji846] The tests so far were not morning tests as I’m aware of the DP. A typical day for me: Chaffles made from 1oz cheddar, two eggs and a tbsp of ground almonds, bit of...

    Daily blood sugars

Bit of background: T2, diagnosed 5 years ago with Hb of 83, managed to reduce in 2017 to 51 with low carbing, hit self destruct button and in early Sep Hb came back at 84! Yikes... Anyway. I spent September resetting my eating habits and focusing on: no binging, less sugar and eating three...

Why oh why did I ever stop low carbing??

That’s good! To be fair I don’t know exactly what happened, just that carbs/sugar are extremely addictive for me. It was always ‘I’ll start tomorrow.’ Stress at work certainly doesn’t help either. ‘I deserve that delicious cake from the canteen dammit’. Etc. Etc.

Why oh why did I ever stop low carbing??

Thank you. I’ve learned the hard way that crash diets don’t work for me. Could not function on them whatsoever.

Why oh why did I ever stop low carbing??

@welovedzig Well. I suppose if I was still pressing the sugary self destruct button, I would be sticking my head in the sand, however I’m back in control so am just giving myself a wee bit more time... I’ll get it done soonish! Just so cross with myself! [emoji52]

Why oh why did I ever stop low carbing??

Back in the low carbing game since Monday morning after 18 months or so of gaining weight and slowly becoming more addicted to carbs/sugar again... I tend not to dwell on mistakes but got a bit cocky after weight loss and feeling good, started eating more carbs and sugar, tried shakes and other...
