The 14 days wouldn't be anywhere near enough time to estimate an accurate HBA1c/GMI, however it shows you your progress and how well you're doing within that time frame. I have been using the Libre2 86 days, which shows a GMI of 38/5.6% and my actual HBA1c blood test I had last week came back...

    Hello

Thanks for the replies and likes everyone :) Couldn't have done it without information read on here. For info, my Libre2 predicted a GMI of 37mmol, the LibreLink app 'Estimated A1c' was 40mmol (85/90 days) so it's pretty close to the actual result.

    Hello

Just an update to this, I had my 3 month HBA1c blood test on Monday and it came back as 42 (6%) which is a major drop from the 95 in April. Very happy with the result for now, I know it took around a month for FBG to even drop to < 8, so there's still room for improvement that's its probably not...

I believe the A1C estimate will get more accurate as it has more data to base the algorithm on. It’s also worth noting you can use libreview.com to view a more detailed, in depth look at your stats. Personally I love statistics and numbers, so libreview is a must for me. It also shows the GMI...

    Cooling down after exercise.

When I do cycling on the exercise bike (I usually do 45m-1hr a day) my BG drops like a stone rather than raise.

    Freestyle libre Sensors

My LibreLink app shows an "Estimated A1C" at 5.9% / 41 mmol/mol but LibreView only shows the GMI, at 5.6% / 38 mmol/mol. Over 81 days of data. Not sure why the App/LibreView show A1C and GMI but not both on each system? it would be nice to explain what the difference is between these two...

I've been using a Libre2 for 3 months since I was diagnosed, I find it very helpful every single day. Things like exercise, hot showers, heat etc. brings my glucose down and see the effects of what food I eat and what it does to me. My experience is you'll want to set your own goals, first...
