    Red Onion for diabetics????

    Thank goodness I'm allergic to onion..... they really trigger the IBD so tend to use garlic, cinnamon leak etc in place. like my food

    Artificial Sweeteners

    So is there any safe sweetener out there? I've just started using Stevia and don't find much difference in taste from brown sugar. Most of the others I've tried for me have a strange after taste. Now not sure what is safe and what isn't :confused:

    6.7 yesterday and 7.0 today.... Never thought I would ever say this but I'm grateful for the drop in heat over the past 2 days, normally I like warm days but not that horrendous heat we had early this week as played havoc with BG levels. Have a good Friday (whats left of it) and weekend everyone x

    5.2 at 7am today Yesterday I was ill in bed and when I did test it was also 5.2 or 5.3 Has anyone else noticed that their arthritis is really playing up in the heat? Normally mine is bad in the wet and cold but I could fool myself into thinking this is a hot winter :( ;)
