    Getting back on track

Hi Maggie75, Sounds to me as if you're determination is going to be a big help to you to get back on track. Getting that Hba1c test done is a good step so you have a new base to start from, so you can see it go down and yes self testing before and after meals certainly helped me big time...

Hi Jo, welcome to the forum, I've only been here a few weeks and totally agree with your statement above. Dried out!

Hi Ambermac, welcome to the forum :) I am also in the same (kind of) age range, maybe a tad older ;) and my skin seemed to get dryer about 14 years ago, I've been diagnosed about 12/13 years with T2D so maybe there is a link. But maybe it's also to do with our age, regardless I'd say try a new...

Anyone had to supplement with Folic Acid with LCHF ?

Yes, they would put me on them for 3 months, test see they had lifted and stop them and repeat, for me the would never hold so was like a yo-yo. I personally didn't have any symptoms for low folic acid, it was simply by testing that I knew. I am told that I am unusual that I can't hold my...

    Medication mix and match

Hi Mikaiya, Sorry to hear you are having these problems. I am not on Metformin or glyclazide so can't comment on those, but would have thought your team need to know they aren't working for you. You say you're eating sensibly, what do you mean by that? I ask because I am also T2 and for years...
